Fleet Watch · Who Owns Tower?
What public records show about the companies behind your paycheck, the car-rental business on your lot, and the New York leasing network both lead back to.
Research cutoff October 21, 2026 · Documented filings, court records, company pages · Employee-reported where marked
Your employer of record is Tower EV LLC, managed by Daniel Munoz. That's on your pay stub. What isn't on your pay stub is that the lot you park on is also the business address of a rent-to-own car company called CarToo, which rents cars by the week to rideshare drivers earning at least $700 a week, which is about what a full week at Tower pays. CarToo's manager is the president of a used-car and livery dealership in Queens, New York, whose weekly-payment leases to Uber drivers were documented by Quartz in 2017 (one driver: $495 a week for 159 weeks, with the car remotely disabled when he fell behind) and described by a federal judge in 2025 as a business that "only provides loans for the purchase of its own goods."
The public record does not say how that business and the Munoz brothers' business are connected financially. It does say they have shared companies since at least 2023, and share a depot today. Below is everything the filings show, with links to every source, and a plain list of what they don't show. If anyone at Mission Road offers you a weekly-payment car, read every page of the agreement before you sign it. Then send us a copy.
Who owns what. Managers, members, and registered agents are not an ownership ledger, and no filing we reviewed states a percentage. Whether a Queens entity finances Tower's fleet. Which company holds the lending license a Tower Group executive says she obtained. What a CarToo contract says. Who or what "Spectrum.ai LLC," the member that AVMobility's Florida filing originally listed, actually is. And anything that connects any of this to the Miami address. The full list, kept current.
Every page carries its own sources and research date. Four labels apply throughout: Documented for a filing, court decision, or company's own page; Employee-reported for what current and former employees told us; Unverified for what we could not confirm; In progress for what we are still pulling. A manager is not an owner. A complaint is not a finding. A dissolved company is not a scandal. When a record answers one of the open questions, it moves from the unknowns page to the page where the answer lives, and we say so.
